During the reception, Chairman Mai affirmed that Ho Chi Minh City will make every effort to support and facilitate the operation of the Thai Consulate General.
According to Chairman Mai, this is the time when Ho Chi Minh City and Thailand promote cooperation in trade, investment and tourism even more strongly. “The city will always try to focus on solutions, creating opportunities for businesses, including Thai ones, to operate smoothly,” he said.
Thai Consul General to Ho Chi Minh City Wiraka Moodhitaporn thanked Ho Chi Minh City leaders for their support for the Thai Consulate General and Thai citizens working and living in Ho Chi Minh City over the past time.
She congratulated Vietnam on reopening tourism activities on March 15 and said that Thailand also started to open this activity on April 1. According to Ms. Wiraka Moodhitaporn, this is an opportunity for Thailand and Vietnam to exchange delegations as well as strengthen tourism promotion activities in the coming time. “The Thai Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City will try to participate in trade and investment promotion activities to contribute to the goal of cooperation between Thailand and Vietnam to achieve the set plan,” she said./.
