Chevron Lummus World-wide (CLG), a joint enterprise between Chevron U.S.A. Inc. and Lummus Engineering,  announced that it has been awarded a technologies agreement by Numaligarh Refinery Minimal (NRL) for their refinery growth job in Numaligah, Golaghat, Assam, India. CLG’s scope includes the license, process structure offer, proprietary products, catalyst provide, instruction and technical products and services.

 

Projected to start off up in 2025, the plant will use CLG’s LC-FINING technological innovation with an built-in VGO hydrotreater to enhance vacuum residue and clarified oil from existing and new models. Combining the two systems presents NRL the capability to generate feedstock for petrochemicals with a lower expenditure. The approach requires upgrading residue to make feed for significant propylene FCC with relieve, safety and trustworthiness. This is the second major license awarded by NRL to CLG, demonstrating religion in equally know-how and operational assistance over the yrs.
